To set an initial zoom, go to Customize -> Controls and look for the Initial Zoom slider.
Maps are automatically centered around all the markers when loaded. Changing the Zoom Level means you are zooming in or out based on this center point.
Caution: If you are zoomed in too far, your map may not show any markers. A simple fix is to click 'Reset' on the zoom.
